Cracked-Out Crossover Time

The idea of an FE2 crossover of some kind has been itching in my brain for months.  First I thought about a straight-out crossover to the Archanea game (FE1/2/DS), with the Peg Sisters operating as the critical link between continents.  The idea started off good, but I didn't know how to resolve it, and I euthanized the plotbunny after a couple of days.  I don't forge ahead with fics without knowing what the ending ought to be.   

Then FE8 presented itself as a tempting target, but I hadn't played it yet, so I got myself a copy of Sacred Stones and dove into the zombie-infested world of Magvel.  Well, the similarities between FE3/DS and FE8 soon drove me up a wall, and by the time Ephraim popped up with his dragongirl sidekick in tow, I knew in my heart that an exorcism via crossover fic was necessary.

Truly it is right and just.

So, expect an FE2/3 fusion featuring "special guests" from the mystic land of Magi Varl in the near future.  Points of interest include a devotee of the Doma/Mila faith mistaking Eirika for the incarnation of the goddess, Ephraim coming face-to-face with Tiki, and Marth not being happy *at all* to find out there's another Fire Emblem in some other world.  One Fire Emblem is enough to deal with in a lifetime.

Oh, yes.  It's set roughly in Archanea 628, so the FE3 gang and the FE8 guests are not in the same age group, and the Magi Varl crew speak a language the Archaneans can't understand. So don't expect everybody to be palling around like a bunch of cute teenagers.

The ending and the epilogue are already written, so this abomination can proceed unhindered.  Yay.
